Infrared picture of an electric iron

Electric iron, Thermography: An infrared picture shows the heat distribution of a running iron. Thermocameras make infrared radiation visible as gray-values or false colors. Thus, white and red indicate hot, while blue and black indicate cooler areas. The scale presented is from approximately 20 C to 130 C. The heat exposed areas of the iron are made of high heat resistant synthetic material.
