Klebsiella oxytoca


Klebsiella oxytoca belongs to the family Enterobacteriaceae and are pathogens that can lead to bacteremia, pneumonia, urinary tract and several other types of human infections. Many Klebsiella strains are resistant to a variety of antibiotics such as ampicillian. Klebsiella are nonmotile, straight rods that are arranged singly, in pairs, or short chains, and are encapsulated. SEM-11.000x.
