Calcite with quartz. Calcite, or calcspar, is a fluorescent mineral. Calcite is the basic component of marble, chalk, and limestone. This specimen was found in Dal'negorsk, Russia, and photographed under short-wave UV light. Compare to 3P3863, the same mineral photographed in white light. Dimensions: 4 x 3 x 3.5 cm.
